Laboratory Manager

Jod Descriptions :

Manage and coordinate the activities of the laboratory team to ensure efficient and accurate testing procedures
Develop and implement testing protocols, quality control measures, and documentation systems to maintain compliance with industry regulations and standards
Analyze test results, identify trends, and recommend process improvements to enhance product quality
Liaise with production, R&D, and quality assurance teams to address any quality-related issues
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies, and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Mentor and train laboratory technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge
Ensure the laboratory maintains a safe and well-organized work environment
Prepare and present reports on laboratory performance, test results, and any issues or challenges to management.

Job Requirement

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or any related major
Minimum 5 years of experience in a laboratory or quality control role within a food manufacturing environment, preferably in dairy or ice cream production
Has experience in ISO 17025 accreditation
Good knowledge of ice cream production processes, including pasteurization, homogenization, freezing, and packaging
Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment, testing procedures, instrumentation, and safety standards
Strong understanding of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP, FDA)
Proficiency in laboratory testing techniques for microbiological, chemical, and physical analysis of food products
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Thorough understanding of food safety regulations, quality control standards, and best practices
Demonstrated experience in leading and developing a team of laboratory professionals
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Fluent in Chinese and English
This position will be placed in Simalungun, North Sumatera
