UOI is one of the biggest Olechemical factories in the world and has been built on an area of 18 hectares, located in Special Economic Zone (KEK) Sei Mangkei, Blok M, N, R, S Huta VI District of Bosar Maligas, Simalungun, North Sumatra, Indonesia, where 30% of equipment manufacturers using domestic products, the plant is designed to process CPKO (Crude Palm Kernel Oil) and 95% of the products will be used by Unilever factories around the world.

Posisi :

Accounting & Reporting Staff

Job responsibilities:

Accountable for end-to-end Record to Report in the company, GL review and monitoring, including the understanding on overall impact on the general accounts.
Prepare and / or do the Journal Voucher entry (daily, weekly and monthly) then make sure the account is post into proper account and proper cost center.
General accounting tasks, including reconciling and maintaining balance sheet accounts and general ledger operations, preparing journal entries, preparing monthly closing and financial reports, preparing account/bank reconciliations.
Perform pre month-end activity (e.g. balance sheet account review, bank reconciliation, check AP/AR) correctly and in timely manner.
Perform month-end/year-end closing activities correctly and in timely manner.
Collect the data required in the preparation of financial statements to reporting can be performed accurately.
Maintain the reporting templates and prepare financial reporting for statutory and management reporting.
Perform finance analysis, reporting and management tasks.
Deliver service excellence and maximize customer service and satisfaction.

Job requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Accounting from reputable University, min GPA 3.00.
Have min 2-year experience as Accounting & Reporting Staff or/and experience from Public Accounting Firm.
Have good knowledge of financial analysis, accounting control, and financial planning & budgeting.
Good understanding the balance sheet and the levers that impact it and IFRS knowledge.
Must be detail and numerical proficiency.
Good English is a must.
Technical Skills - SAP, Excel, PowerPoint.
